Dropbox Instructions

Everything You Wanted to Know About Dropbox but Were Too Afraid to Ask
created by Ryan Boyd; modified by Lisa Ortiz
Step 1: Go to the Dropbox website (copy and paste this link into your web browser): http://db.tt/O5rbVh1
Step 2: Enter your first name, last name, email address, and create a password for your Dropbox account.  Check the box that says "I agree to Dropbox Terms," and click "Create account."
Step 3: You will need to log into your email account that you used to sign up for Dropbox.  Open the email sent from Dropbox and click the link inside the email to "verify your email address."
Step 3: Go to www.dropbox.com and click the sign in button at the top right corner of the screen and sign into your Dropbox account.
Step 4: Click the "Sharing" button next to the rainbow on the left side of the window.
Step 5: Click the “New shared folder” button at the top right, and select the “I'd like to create and share a new folder” option.  The name of your folder should be “ESL115_FirstName_LastName”  For example, Lisa's folder would be named “ESL115_Lisa_Ortiz”
Step 6: Click the “Next” button and underneath “Invite collaborators to this folder” insert my email address, lisa.ortiz@upr.edu. Then click "Share folder."
Step 7Upload a picture of yourself to the Dropbox folder you just shared with me using the “upload” button.  This will help me learn your names and faces.  It is also your first homework assignment.  Name the file picture_FirstName_LastName
Note: I do not have access to any work you do not upload to the shared folder, so make sure all assignments are uploaded to the ESL115_Firstname_Lastname folder that you shared with me.
