4/12: Source Synthesis

Hi Students! 

Today we will be finishing with our last source. Remember that the following three sources are the ones that are being used for the GRP:

1. Meddling in Swedish success in nuclear waste management

2. Burying globally, acting locally: control and co-option in nuclear waste management

3. Preliminary conceptual design of a geological disposal system for high-levelwastes from the pyroprocessing of PWR spent fuels

We'll focus specifically on #3 today and do the following:

1. Read as much as possible until I ask you to stop.

2. Write the third entry in the same GRP Annotated Bibliography Template that you have been working on during the week.

4. Write a paragraph offering improvements to our solution for the GRP Topic: Deep Geological Disposal

Today you should finish with your GRP Annotated Bibliography. This template/assignment is due today in class. We will try to do everything for the GRP in class NOT as homework, BUT this could change. Do not panic if you were unable to get everything done.

Homework:

You should have been following the model we began on Monday for your IRP sources. The completed IRP Annotated Bibliography Template is due tomorrow, Saturday, April 13th at 12 Noon.

If you have not done so already, finish reading ALL 3 GRP sources so you can do in-class work on Monday. Bring printed copies of the sources if you work better with them.
